Hammer crusher grate is a control sieve that controls the granularity of finished product and makes it within the specified maximum size range. ※Reason One: The moisture content of material is too large, and after crushed by the hammer head of the hammer crusher machine, the material is blocked between grate bars when the hammer crusher grate sifts the fine material.

Solution One: Hammer crusher can handle the rocks and ores with the moisture content less than 15%. Before feeding the material, the operator needs to use the detector to measure whether the material moisture content is qualified, if more than, he should do the dry processing for the raw material or decrease the inlet amount of over-wet material.

※Reason Two: There are too hard or unbroken materials entering the hammer crusher crushing chamber, which aggravates the blockage of hammer crusher grates.

Solution Two: Hammer crusher is suitable for crushing the brittle materials and medium hard materials. Therefore, before the feed, we should pre-select the material to ensure all materials in crushing chamber can be controlled within the acceptable hardness range of hammer crusher.

※Reason Three: The feeding speed is too fast, and the grate load of hammer crusher increases, as the result, the hammer crusher grates are blocked.

Solution Three:In the feeding process of hammer crusher equipment,it is important to always note the problem that the ammeter pointer is in the large deflection angle. If more than the rated current, it indicates that the motor is overloaded, and the long-time overload will burn out the motor. When this situation happens, we should immediately reduce the feed speed or change the feeding way by increasing the feeders to control the input quantity of material.

※Reason Four: The sundries in the hammer crusher grate are not timely cleaned.

Solution Four: Clean up the plugging materials in the gap of hammer crusher grates, and do the daily maintenance of grate bar well when the hammer crusher is in downtime.

※Reason Five: When the hammer crusher equipment is in the crushing process, if the voltage is unstable, the hammer crusher rotor cannot reach the normal speed and the hammerhead of hammer crusher cannot play its crushing function well, so the material is blocked in the hammer crusher grate.

Solution Five: Turn off the current source, check out the reason for the voltage instability and solve this trouble timely. After the voltage stabilizes, restart the crusher to do the normal work, the unqualified material blocked in the hammer crusher grate will be crushed again by hammer crusher hammerhead until it can be discharged out.

When the hammer crusher grate is in the blockage situation, the users should promptly eliminate the blockage reasons and do the adjustment, otherwise, it will aggravate the loading of hammer crusher equipment, reduce the production efficiency of hammer crusher, cause the serious wear and even breakage of hammer crusher grate, and increase the user's production and equipment investment, so that do more harm than good.
